How could he, a commoner who grew up in the slums, be worthy of any woman? Tiana, a priestess, has her own fears about being a HeartMate. She’s sure her HeartMate has never claimed her due to a terrible scandal involving her Family. Antenn’s gotten the commission of his life. The cathedral will make him famous. It will last for ages and prove to others he can contribute to Celta, if the structure isn’t destroyed while being built. WEEK FOUR

Anomaly (Schrodinger’s Consortium #1)—Tonya Kuper (November 25, Entangled Teen)

Young Adult. What if the world isn’t what we think? What if reality is really only an illusion? What if you were one of the few who could control it? Josie Harper didn’t believe it, either, until strange things started happening. When this hot guy tried to kidnap her, shouting about ultimate observers and pushing and consortiums hell-bent on controlling the world. Well, that’s when things got real. Now Josie’s got it bad for a boy who weakens her every time he’s near and a world of enemies on her tail who want to control her gift, so yeah, she’s going to need more than just her wits if she hopes to survive much longer. Einstein never saw this coming.

Blood’s Shadow (The Lycanthropy Files #3)—Cecilia Dominic (November 25, Samhain)

As the Investigator for the Lycanthrope Council, Gabriel McCord encountered his share of sticky situations in order to keep werewolf kind under the radar of discovery. As the Council’s liaison to the Institute for Lycanthropic Reversal, he advocates for those who were turned werewolf against their will. Everyone seems to be on board with the Institute’s controversial experimental process, until one of its geneticists is found lying on his desk in a pool of blood. Gabriel races to single out a killer from a long list of suspects. Failure means he’ll lose his place on the Council and endanger the tenuous truce between wizard and lycanthrope. Even if he wins, he could lose his heart to a woman with deadly secrets of her own. (ebook only)

Light My Fire (Dragon Kin #7)—G.A. Aiken (November 25, Zebra)

And yet she is the one trying to assassinate the queen. And now I’m trapped with Elina Shestakova of the Black Bear Riders of the Midnight, gods. That endless name. But what am I to do? I am Celyn the Charming with direct orders from my queen to protect this unforgiving female. Even more shocking, this unforgiving female is completely unimpressed by me. How is that even possible? But I know what I want and, for the moment, I want her. And I’m sure that she, like all females, will learn to adore me. How could she not when I am just so damn charming?

Vampire in Paradise (Deadly Angels #5)—Sandra Hill (November 25, Avon)

Slaying demon vampires known as Lucipires and using his healing gifts as a cancer research doctor, Sigurd is sent to Florida’s Grand Keys Island as a resident physician, where he encounters a sinfully beautiful woman. The only hope Marisa Lopez has of curing her five-year-old daughter is a pricey experimental procedure. Sigurd tells her he believes he can help her daughter. Could this too-hot-to-resist Viking doctor be an angel of some sort sent to bring a miracle for her daughter? Or is he just a vampire bent on breaking Marisa’s heart?
